1948 Born in Klagenfurt/Woerthersee, Austria

1968 to 1973 Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna

[Master Class Professor Max Weiler]

1973 Received diploma and “Prize of the Academy“

1973 to 1975 Travelled throughout South America

Since 1975 main residence is in San Francisco, California.

Now travels to Asia, North America, Jordan, Turkey, Iceland,

North Africa, Central America and most countries in Europe

with extended stays in Mexico, India and Venice, Italy.

Since 1992 he shares work and living space between

San Francisco, California, and St. Margarethen/Lavanttal,

Austria, where he and his wife have an old Mill/Schloss.

As of 1993 he began to work in and on this “Art Mill“.

It is an ongoing project.

Exhibithions in galleries, arthouses and museums in

Chicago, Frankfurt, Houston, Klagenfurt, Krakow, Los

Angeles, Mexico City, Munich, New York, Nuernberg, Rio

de Janeiro, San Francisco, São Paulo, Vienna, and Zagreb

among others. His work is represented in many private and

public collections in the USA, Central and South America,

Mexico and Europe.
